Craig Powers has been involved in the cleaning and restoration industry for 37 years serving many positions from carpet/upholstery technician, water/fire/mold damage technician, project manager, restoration manager, general manager, and technical support manager. He has owned a carpet inspection/correction company serving the carpet mills and construction industry. Craig is currently the Corporate Director of Restoration for COIT Services, Inc. and their family of companies and franchises.

Craig frequently speaks at industry conferences and events around the US, sharing his passion for all things disaster restoration. He is currently an IICRC S-550 Consensus Body Member drafting a new commercial water damage standard and an IICRC S-500 Consensus Body Member for the next rewrite. Craig is an IICRC Triple Master, carpet inspector and holds the IICRC’s advanced certification of Applied Mold Remediation Specialist, Mold Removal Specialist and is Restoration Industry Association (RIA) Contents Loss Specialist (CLS) & Environmental Risk Specialist certified (ERS). Craig is a past RIA board member (2 terms) and currently sits on the RIA Education Committee. He teaches the RIA 2-day Project Management course. He also holds the NADCA ASCS and CVI certifications and is Washington Asbestos Supervisor certified.

Craig resides in the Pacific Northwest and travels the country pursuing his passion for large loss and catastrophic events, training franchises and new team members in the art of disaster restoration.
