Concurrent Breakout: If You’re Not at the Table, You’re on the Menu: The Power of RIA Advocacy & Whitepapers

This session provides an overview of RIA’s advocacy efforts and the tools available to help members engage effectively at the local, state, and federal levels. Attendees will be introduced to RIA’s role-based position statements, which outline industry perspectives and best practices for contractors, adjusters, consultants, and other stakeholders across the restoration ecosystem.

The session will also highlight RIA’s Grassroots Legislative Program, explaining how members can stay informed, participate in advocacy initiatives, and contribute to shaping policies that impact the restoration industry. Participants will gain practical insight into using advocacy resources to support business operations, strengthen credibility with policymakers, and ensure the industry’s voice is represented.
