The RIA Pete Consigli Educational Scholarship Award was established to promote education and excellence in the restoration industry. This scholarship award is presented to a deserving professional in the field of cleaning & restoration to support their pursuit of one of the RIA’s premier advanced designations – Water Loss Specialist (WLS), Fire Loss Specialist (FLS), Contents Loss Specialist (CLS), Environmental Risk Specialist (ERS), or Certified Restorer (CR).

Winner of the Pete Consigli Educational Scholarship Award will receive ONE FREE Designation certification course (ERS, CLS, FLS, WLS) of their choice. 

 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education 
• Training school that teaches courses similar to contents and restoration
• Five years of verifiable work experience or three years verifiable supervisory experience, project supervisor, estimator, consultant, inspector, restoration company manager, facility manager, restoration instructor.
• RIA member or employed by a member company of the RIA

Application Process

Applicants must complete the online application and include the following required documents:

• Resume
• A letter of recommendation from employer or fellow restoration professional

A volunteer selection committee will review submitted applications and the winner will be announced at the RIA 2023 International Convention + Industry Expo in Orlando, FL.

Applications must be submitted to info@restorationindustry.org by Friday, March 17, 2023. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
