Description:
Large catastrophe operations present a number of opportunities and challenges. The opportunities for quick and significant financial benefit to the company as well as other team members are obvious. But the challenges of taking care of business in the home field, coupled with the need to scale-up personnel, processes and resources are huge. Every year restorers mobilize to take advantage of these opportunities, often repeating the same mistakes many others have made the year before. The result is each year many return home and swear, “I’ll never go to another cat operation again!” In this session you will hear from Mickey Lee, an industry leader and well-known trainer, technical expert and troubleshooter. He has been going out on “Cat” for nearly 30 years, managing large projects, managing overall operations and for 15 years had the responsibility to analyze the Company’s annual response with the purpose of improving it. He will share several critical lessons, both good and bad, learned over those years.
